Exciting Day!!! Today we had our Ultrasound for Small Fry, the baby looks great and was first curled up in a ball. The technician thought it was funny and finally got baby to move, at which point Small Fry decided to touch his own head with her feet. The pictures will kind of show that. Then baby decided to kick....a lot!!!!! Alisha (our technician) made many comments at how active Small Fry was. She thought things looked good. She was amazing it was like having a good friend do an ultrasound. Alanna got to watch and was in awe of Small Fry. They had two computer screens so we were able to watch everything she did. This was a lot different than with Alanna. She even told me to go empty my bladder because I did a good job at filling it up then we finished the ultrasound.
Many of you may ask the question if we found out the gender of Small fry and our answer is.....maybe, maybe not. So with that being said please do not try and decipher our use of "he" "she" "his" "hers" we are trying to as gender neutral as possible without calling Small Fry an "it" because this baby is definitely not an "it" or a turtle as Alanna will tell you.
Thank you for not posting those new ultrasound pictures that are color and supposed to look more realistic. They freak me out. Small Fry looks great, I can't wait. Oh! I know you have been trying to find the right time and place to ask, so I will just address this now for you. Yes, you can use the name Carlin, whether you have a boy or girl, feel free. We can get matching name tattoos when Carlin turns 18, it will be great.
